"The Hawai`i Hotel & Lodging Association (HHLA) is a statewide trade association of hotels, hotel management firms, hotel owners, suppliers, and other related firms and individuals.
This non-profit organization was established in 1947, the original membership consisted of 16 hotels, to represent the interest of the state's lodging industry.
Today, the membership consists of over 171 hotels representing 47,507 hotel rooms in the State of Hawaii, over 500 Special Active, Associate, Honorary, Life & Special Members, and Allied Members, for a total of over 700 members, and increasing each year. Our hotel members range from 3,432 rooms of the Hilton Hawaiian Village to the 4 rooms of the Bougainvillea Bed & Breakfast on the Big Island. The membership is made up of local, national and international chains includes Aqua Hotels & Resorts, Castle & Cooke Resorts, Castle Hotels & Resorts, Fairmont, Four Seasons, Halekulani Corp., Hilton, Holiday Inn, HTH Corp., Hyatt Regency, Marc Hotels & Resorts, Marriott, Outrigger Hotels & Resorts, Ohana Hotels & Resorts, Prince Resorts, Radisson, Renaissance, ResortQuest Hawaii, Ritz Carlton, Sheraton, Starwood, Westin, etc."
